Deadlock hero voting: releases, results and old trackers

Understand Deadlock hero voting, distinguish old trackers from active events, and find the confirmed City Never Sleeps hero release order and original results.

By DeadlockStrat · Reviewed

Check the event and date before trusting a vote tracker. City Never Sleeps finished its six-hero rollout with Nurse Harrow on October 20, 2026. A past countdown or winner chart is historical information, not proof that voting is active today.

First establish whether the event is still active

Find the latest official announcement for the named event. A tracker can preserve a real result long after voting ends. Check whether its timestamp belongs to the current round, a completed round or a previous hero release event; do not infer live status from an animated countdown alone.

For City Never Sleeps, the October 20 announcement explicitly closes the release sequence. This site does not currently ingest live voting totals. The archive and the release order below are source-linked historical records, not a real-time vote API. If a future event opens, its instructions and eligibility must come from that event's official post.

City Never Sleeps: the confirmed release order

The sequence captured in our archive is Rat King, Baba, Solomon, Deadman Danny, Violet and Nurse Harrow, released October 2, 6, 9, 13, 16 and 20 respectively. Release announcements establish when each hero was introduced; they do not prove the relative strength of those heroes in subsequent patches.

Use a hero page to move from release history to ability and build context. If a search result still says a released hero is coming next, compare its publication date with the corresponding release post before relying on it. Historical previews should keep their original date rather than being relabelled as current news.

Read voting results without turning them into a tier list

Valve's closing announcement reports event participation and a close Baba-versus-Solomon contest. Those are voting results. A popularity contest does not measure item effectiveness, matchup advantage or the best build for your rank.

Separate votes cast, individual participants and match results. Even a reported association between a group's votes and its win rate is not evidence that the voted hero caused better outcomes. We do not manufacture live totals, predict a winner from incomplete data or treat a promotional description as statistical proof.
