Patch date: . Guide reviewed 2026-11-03. Historical changes can be superseded; use current definitions for a match today.
How this guide was prepared: AI-assisted analysis with a separate source-check pass against archived official notes. Practical decisions are reasoned suggestions, not player-tested results or measured win-rate evidence. A small hotfix receives a short guide rather than a reconstructed full build.

Drifter spotlight and release
What changed: The announcement says Drifter is available in games starting today and describes Bloodscent as driving him toward isolated prey, Stalker's Mark as letting him appear behind enemies, Rend as his lunge, and Eternal Night as bringing a whistling and screams. It also says Victor's release will conclude the hero update on Friday at 2pm PDT.
How to adapt: When facing Drifter, test whether isolation, escape, and positioning affect his pursuit and ambush as the spotlight describes; verify the abilities in-game rather than assuming details the announcement does not specify.
