Patch date: . Guide reviewed 2026-11-03. Historical changes can be superseded; use current definitions for a match today.
How this guide was prepared: AI-assisted analysis with a separate source-check pass against archived official notes. Practical decisions are reasoned suggestions, not player-tested results or measured win-rate evidence. A small hotfix receives a short guide rather than a reconstructed full build.
Original update sources
Recorded topics: Heroes, Gameplay, Fixes. Dates refer to the update named in the notes; a mirrored post can be published later.
Bebop: reassess Sticky Bomb stacking
What changed: Sticky Bomb loses its 15-stack cap. Its per-hero scaling is reduced from 4% to 3%; the notes also state that the previous uncapped value was 2.5%. Bebop still loses two stacks on death.
How to adapt: Test how far stacks build in your usual games and compare the revised scaling against the death penalty; the change does not by itself establish that pursuing extra stacks is always worthwhile.
Bebop: hook changes and Hyper Beam
What changed: A bug fix addresses hooks that sometimes failed to grab heroes near cover despite those heroes remaining in collision range. Hook collision against troopers falls from 33 to 12, and the hook no longer kills troopers. Hyper Beam duration increases from 10 to 11 seconds.
How to adapt: Test hooks against troopers and near cover to see how the collision and grab changes affect your attempts; the notes do not guarantee a particular outcome in every situation. Account for the extra second when checking Hyper Beam timing.
Vindicta: check movement timing
What changed: Vindicta’s movespeed increases from 8.3 to 9.
How to adapt: Recheck movement-dependent positioning and timing with Vindicta; the notes do not establish any specific matchup or tactical advantage.
Torment Pulse, Ethereal Shift, and smaller updates
What changed: Torment Pulse scales with cooldown again, while its Spirit power scaling decreases from 0.33 to 0.3. Ethereal Shift’s scaling with duration is fixed. Pause is no longer restricted before three minutes for now, and Heavy Barrage’s sound is updated.
How to adapt: If using Torment Pulse, test cooldown-focused and Spirit-focused choices under the revised scaling; check Ethereal Shift with duration, and note the temporary pause-rule change and updated Heavy Barrage sound.
