Urn timing, resist effects and runner bonus
What changed: Urn spawn timing and intervals change from 10/15/20/25/etc to 12/18/24/30/etc, and the Urn timer freezes with Frozen Shelter. The +35% Bullet and Spirit Resist aura for the behind team is active only while the Urn is being deposited, not while carried or dropped. A behind Urn runner gains +35% Bullet and Spirit Resist for themselves only. The trailing team Urn runner’s extra sprint bonus was fixed.
How to adapt: Recheck rotations against the later spawn schedule, and do not rely on the team aura while the Urn is carried or dropped. If your team is behind, account for the runner’s separate personal resist bonus; test the sprint-bonus fix in play rather than assuming its practical effect.
Held timer and Urn return rules
What changed: The Urn damages its runner after a team has held it for 30 seconds, down from 50 seconds; this timer freezes while enemies are within 40m of the runner. Each pickup adds at least 2 seconds to the team’s 30-second held-timer limit, even if the Urn is instantly dropped. The 12-second pickup restriction after the previous 50-second team-held timer is removed. After a drop or fumble, the Urn stays in place while enemies of the last player to drop or fumble it are within 40m. If there are no such enemies, it waits up to 13 seconds if a friendly player is within 40m. If held time is over 45 seconds, the next drop sends it home immediately if there are no nearby enemies.
How to adapt: Track held time and check nearby players before planning a drop: nearby enemies can freeze the damage timer and keep the Urn in place, while a nearby friendly matters to the stated wait rule when relevant enemies are absent. Count each pickup toward the added held-timer limit. Once held time is over 45 seconds, do not expect the Urn to remain available after a drop if there are no nearby enemies.
Parrying troopers
What changed: Parrying a trooper no longer resets parry cooldown and now stuns the trooper. It does not end the parry early, unlike a hero hit.
How to adapt: A trooper parry can stun the trooper, but it no longer resets parry cooldown. Test the timing and stun in play without assuming the parry ends early as it does on a hero hit.
