Deadlock Patch Notes Guide — February 12, 2026

Shrine pressure now changes lane by lane, while hero adjustments reshape damage, control, and utility. Check the specific changes before choosing fights or upgrades.

Patch date: . Guide reviewed 2026-11-03. Historical changes can be superseded; use current definitions for a match today.

How this guide was prepared: AI-assisted analysis with a separate source-check pass against archived official notes. Practical decisions are reasoned suggestions, not player-tested results or measured win-rate evidence. A small hotfix receives a short guide rather than a reconstructed full build.

Original update sources

Recorded topics: Gameplay, Fixes. Dates refer to the update named in the notes; a mirrored post can be published later.

Track shrine pressure by lane

What changed: Troopers strengthen in the lane whose shrine dies; when both shrines die, the middle lane also improves. Shrine HP is reduced by 10%. Blue zipline attach speed is improved, and various bugs are fixed. In Street Brawl, round-end time slows globally, and players can move around in spawn after buying phase ends.

How to adapt: After a shrine falls, check the affected lane rather than assuming all lanes changed; if both fall, also account for the middle lane. Test whether the lower shrine HP changes your team’s timing for shrine attempts. In Street Brawl, use the newly permitted post-buy movement to adjust your spawn position, and account for the global slow when a round ends.

Recheck Celeste’s damage and ability conditions

What changed: Celeste has base -6% Bullet Resistance and base damage falls from 29 to 25. Dazzling Trick’s explosion radius falls from 15m to 14m; Radiant Daggers damage falls from 65 to 60 and its spirit scaling from 0.49 to 0.42; Shining Wonder damage falls from 115 to 105. Light Eater no longer gives allies lifesteal for their damage and now respects line of sight. When cast in the air, Shining Wonder makes her glide down more slowly while channeling.

How to adapt: Reassess exposure to bullets and damage expectations with the resistance penalty and lower damage figures. Check sightlines before relying on Light Eater, and test airborne Shining Wonder channeling with the slower descent; the notes do not establish how these changes affect any particular matchup.

Adjust Graves’ control and summon timing

What changed: Graves’ base damage falls from 4.2 to 4.0, while max attack range rises from 16m to 17m. Grasping Hands narrows from 20m to 14m and lasts 5s instead of 7s, but its damage spirit scaling rises from 1.3 to 1.9. Jar of Dead lasts up to 10s instead of 15s and deals 20 instead of 16 damage. Borrowed Decree spawns ghouls every 4s instead of every 5s, with the same total ghouls over its duration; its duration falls from 20s to 16s and its spirit scaling from 0.05 to 0.04.

How to adapt: Test Grasping Hands against narrower target groupings and plan around its shorter duration; its higher spirit scaling alone does not establish greater damage in every build. Compare Jar of Dead’s shorter duration with its higher listed damage. For Borrowed Decree, account for faster spawn intervals but a shorter duration, and do not infer more total ghouls than the notes specify.

Review Rem’s upgrades and helper behavior

What changed: Rem’s light melee damage rises by 15%, and Pillow Toss charges recover in 10s instead of 12s. Pillow Toss T2 gains +2m radius; T3 loses that radius and gains +1 charge. Lil Helpers gain 100% rather than 50% of trooper souls when no allies are nearby, and their troopers grant the killer +20% Bonus Bounty. Following-trooper healing falls from 14/s to 10/s, with spirit scaling rising from 0.1 to 0.125; trooper resistance falls from 35% to 30%, while T3 resistance rises from +15% to +20%. Enemies attacking a Sinner’s Sacrifice while helpers are on it scare them back to Rem. Naptime T3’s cooldown reduction improves from -55s to -65s.

How to adapt: Choose Pillow Toss T2 or T3 based on whether radius or an extra charge better suits the situation, and verify how the revised helper behavior affects your use of troopers and Sinner’s Sacrifice. The resistance change differs between base and T3, so compare the upgrade level you actually use rather than treating it as a uniform reduction.

Account for Silver’s stat and ability changes

What changed: Silver’s base health rises from 725 to 800, ammo from 6 to 7, and falloff range changes from 16m–46m to 20m–46m. Boot Kick spirit scaling rises from 1 to 2; Entangling Bola scaling rises from 1 to 1.6; Go For The Throat range rises from 7m to 7.5m. Lycan Curse buildup improves slightly, while its resistance falls from 20% to 14%; T1 resistance falls from 15% to 14%.

How to adapt: Recheck firing and ability range assumptions against the revised listed values, and test the improved buildup alongside the lower Lycan Curse resistance at the ability level you use. The notes do not establish that these changes guarantee a stronger result in any particular matchup.

Test Venator’s wall interactions and trap placement

What changed: Venator’s health rises from 720 to 750. Consecrating Grenade T2 also adds +1s debuff duration, and Gutshot cooldown falls from 26s to 23s. Gutshot’s wall-stun distance is fixed to scale with ability range and rises from 6.5m to 7m; wall-hit bonus damage scaling rises from 0.4 to 0.9. Gutshot T2 changes from -8s cooldown and 2.5m range to -10s cooldown and +0.4s stun duration. Hex-Lined Snap Trap now spawns in line with the crosshair rather than with Venator; its spirit scaling rises from 1.6 to 2.2, reveal duration from 5s to 6s, and cooldown falls from 30s to 25s. Its T2 reduction changes from -12s to -8s, and T3 rises from 20% to 25%. Ira Domini weapon-damage scaling falls from 1.7 to 1.5, gains a laser visual and sound where Venator is aiming, and its T2 damage changes from 150 to 65 while retaining -15s cooldown. Gutshot and Hex-Lined Snap Trap also receive tooltip changes.

How to adapt: Test Gutshot’s wall stun at different ability ranges and check the revised T2 tradeoff before selecting it. Use the crosshair as the trap-placement reference, and verify the new reveal duration and cooldown in play. Treat the Ira Domini laser cue and damage reduction as meaningful changes to visibility and listed damage, not as proof of a particular counterplay result.
