Baba's trade and escape windows changed together
What changed: Baba lost spirit-resistance scaling and gained negative base bullet resistance. Threadsap and Granny Long Legs cooldowns increased; Threadsap's enemy reduction now ended when Baba died. Brew barrier values and scaling fell alongside cooldown and upgrade adjustments.
How to adapt: Reassess whether you lose trades to repeated ability uptime or sustained bullets. Track actual spell use before committing, because a cooldown increase matters after the ability has been spent. Baba players should test old barrier-survival expectations instead of assuming the same escape remains available. Her reduced resistance does not remove the need to respect mobility and control. Matchup purchases should address the relevant damage window rather than follow a blanket instruction to buy defense.
Danny gained contact damage and staying power
What changed: Danny gained health, regeneration and gun damage. Chimera scaling and Strix Salvo damage/upgrades improved, and Salvo's cooldown shortened. Close the Deal improved against lower-health targets; rocket-jump self-damage fell and became spirit damage.
How to adapt: Check whether you survive Danny's approach before investing only in a tool to chase him. Track the landing or commitment window and coordinate control so a delayed grounding active gets a useful follow-up. Passive bullet defense and active control solve different problems; neither is justified merely by the enemy hero selection. For Danny players, the mixed changes justify testing an older route against the actual kit. They do not prove one complete build became statistically best.
Keep mode and patch date attached to the advice
What changed: Radiant Regeneration's spirit scaling was reduced. Baba also received a Street Brawl-specific duration adjustment, distinct from the general hero changes. This was a targeted balance update rather than a complete item-economy reset.
How to adapt: Apply the right mode's rules. A Street Brawl adjustment should not enter standard-mode calculations, and this page should not be treated as a current damage spreadsheet. Compare subsequent patches before copying numerical expectations. Linked hero and item pages provide maintained references; the planner verifies current definitions independently. We do not infer a precise purchase order or measured win-rate effect just from the direction of a buff. Review your actual damage and survival problem first.
